Voluntary Benefits

Chevron Phillips Chemical offers voluntary benefit options to save you money. You can enroll in a critical illness plan or legal plan coverage and pay group rates for coverage. You can also take advantage of special banking and investing benefits through Bank of America.

Critical Illness Plan
Critical illness insurance offers valuable protection by helping pay out-of-pocket costs associated with serious health conditions. Offered through MetLife, the Critical Illness Plan provides a lump-sum benefit in the event you or a covered dependent are diagnosed with a covered condition. You can elect coverage of $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000 for you and/or your eligible dependents.
Group Legal Plan
When you elect coverage through MetLife Legal, a licensed attorney can assist you with a number of legal matters. In addition, there are over 1,700 legal documents on the MetLife Legal website, including affidavits, promissory notes and more. Coverage is available for $14.85 per month, and contributions are deducted from your pay on an after-tax basis. The plan covers you, your spouse and your eligible dependents. Note: employees with Metlife supplemental life insurance, that do not elect Group Legal Plan coverage, can still receive a free basic will from Metlife through their supplemental life insurance coverage.
Bank of America Banking and Investing Program
As an employee of Chevron Phillips Chemical, you have special access to enroll in the Bank of America Preferred Rewards program with Gold tier benefits. New customers can also earn a $300 cash bonus after opening an eligible new personal checking account and making qualifying direct deposits.
